Hey all!
What a mission! It was such a task to get this size of ivy in the scene. The generator works extremely well and it has nothing to do with the quality of the software. Blender rocks and the ivy generator too, but I was referring to getting it to render (Cycles is a bit more heavy duty than Blender Render, imo).
BUT! HE came through as usual and I added HIS suggestions to the book as well on how to get it going with a good look and proper detail.
For today's post, I made a clay render (for those of you new to the term, it commonly refers to rendering the entire scene or object requested, with an off-white color only to see the level of detail better) and also added the ivy in it's untextured state as well over the fully colored and textured ruin:
Anyone ever seen a white ivy before? Anyone? Well now you have, lol.
I think it looks great and can't wait to see it with some color too it as well!! Remember though, the leaves here are planes. They will get a leave shape later on (^^,)!
Thank YOU!!!!!!!!!
