About Me

Marius Oberholster Hey! I'm having an incredible learning experience, not only learning how Blender works (yes, still learning), but also about Open-Source and the incredible software available. Stick around!

Progress on the output

Hey all!!

I've been working very hard to get some form of good result in depth and thankfully here it is:

Now, while the depth is great, it still only goes so far and then it doesn't go any further. In other words, if the object goes beyond a certain point, there is no more depth to give it and to you it will only be getting smaller.

The ideal is to get double the depth I have currently, but doing a two-step overlay (it helps focus a center of the scene), but there are many issues that still need resolving, especially the reverse polarity for the depth behind the focal point.

I fully intend on getting this to work with color as well (the way it works definitely allows for side-by-side), but currently only squashed, unless you adjust your camera proportions or you are willing to lose part of your image (to cropping for the side-by-side), but I'm sure there's a way to resize the output in the compositer (just need to go find out), if not, it may very well be a good suggestion for a new node (^^,).

Thank YOU!!!!!
